The school operates across two sites, with our Infant and Junior provisions working closely together to ensure a smooth and supportive transition for pupils. We pride ourselves on strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff, and we are passionate about creating a positive learning environment where children feel safe and motivated to learn.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will:

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, working within multiple year groups as required
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils, including delivering planned interventions
• Adapt support to meet the varying needs of different pupils, including those with additional needs
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals to support pupil progress
• Assist with classroom preparation, behaviour support, and the creation of a positive learning environment
• Travel to the Infant site each morning to support pupils by safely walking them to the Junior site
• Build positive relationships with pupils to support their emotional, social, and academic development
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children at all times

About You
We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within KS2
• Is adaptable, proactive, and confident working across different year groups
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is patient, caring, and committed to supporting children with a range of needs
• Is able to deliver structured interventions effectively, following guidance from teaching staff
• Is reliable, organised, and able to manage transitions between sites and responsibilities
• Shares our commitment to inclusion, high standards, and pupil wellbeing
