Teaching Assistant Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Mondayâ??Friday (term time only)
About the Role We are currently working with a welcoming and well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Islington that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education, enjoys working with children, and is looking to make a real difference in the classroom.
You will be supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons, working with small groups and occasionally supporting individual pupils with additional learning needs. The school has excellent leadership, a friendly team, and a strong focus on inclusive learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:- Previous experience working in a primary school.
- A positive, proactive, and patient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children.
Key Responsibilities- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning objectives.
- Help to prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
- Promote a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
