Role: Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full-time / Term-time only
Start Date: 3rd November 2025
Salary: £550 - £600 per week

Roles and Responsibilities- Provide tailored support to individual pupils with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and make sustained progress.
- Working closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver differentiated learning activities that meet the needs of all learners.
- Support small group interventions in key subjects such as reading, writing, and maths.
- Implement strategies and using resources recommended in pupilsâ?? individual learning plans or EHCPs.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being, using a calm and consistent approach.
- Encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence in pupils, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Support with assessment and tracking progress by observing, recording, and feeding back to teachers and the SENCO.
- Assist in the creation of a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that reflects the schoolâ??s values.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure consistent support strategies.
About You- Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
- A calm, patient approach and strong communication skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Flexibility and a willingness to support learning across all age groups.
