A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Barking and Dagenham, East London is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting difference by supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Key Stages 3 to 5, within a nurturing and forward-thinking school community.
This full-time, long-term position offers a competitive daily rate of up to £115, depending on experience.
Role Overview:- Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for students with a variety of learning and emotional needs
- Assist class teachers in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons across all subjects
- Work closely with the SEND team to implement individualised support plans and interventions
- Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence both inside and outside the classroom
- Ideal for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, or future SEND professionals
