We are seeking a caring and committed
Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to support students with significant learning, communication, and physical needs.
Key responsibilities include:- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs.
- Assisting with personal care and physical support where required.
- Helping pupils to develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
- Supporting learning activities, adapting resources, and reinforcing key skills.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet each pupilâ??s individual needs.
What Weâ??re Looking For- Experience supporting children or young people with complex or additional needs (essential).
- A patient, compassionate, and resilient attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their potential.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g. safeguarding, moving & handling, first aid).
