Key responsibilities- Providing one-to-one support for pupils with SEN, helping them access learning and achieve their individual targets
- Use a range of strategies and tools to support pupil engagement and independence
- Monitor and record progress, behaviour and areas of concern, contributing to assessments and reviews with the wider support team
- Promote positive behaviour, modelling respectful communication, and helping pupils develop appropriate social and interpersonal skills
- Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays that reflect and celebrate the schoolâ??s values
- Being an active and reliable member of the staff team, willing to contribute to training, staff meetings and whole-school events
About You- Passionate about making a positive impact on childrenâ??s learning and development
- Patient, empathetic and able to build strong relationships with children, particularly those with additional needs
- Proactive, flexible and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Ideally holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or has previous experience as a Teaching in assistant within a primary school in London
