Teaching Assistant

£103 - £125 per day, Benefits: Long Term Position in Mainstream School
Inner London - West, Outer London - West
Long term
Start date: September 2025
Are you an experienced teaching assistant with a proven track record of helping learners to reach milestones and develop their classroom skills?

We are working closely with this welcoming, mainstream primary school in Harrow who want to find an outstanding TA to support a learner with significant barriers to classrooom learning.

The ideal candidate will be available full time and have at least 18 months' experience in the UK.

We are interested in interviewing people who are able to handle challenging behaviour - this learner has been responding well to their current intervention and you will take the lead in ensuring that this success continues as the demands and time spent in school increase.

You must have experience in delivering interventions to support learners with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SCLN) and knowledge or experience of ESOL would be preferred - the ability to speak Romanian is not essential but highly desirable.

This is a long-term, full time position to start asap and you will be working half days with this particular learner, and half days with another learner or group.

This is a varied position with the opportunity to have an impact across diverse cohorts.

The school has been praised for their wide range of cultural activities and proactive approach to inclusion. You will be fully immersed in a friendly and supportive team, and there is a likelihood that this will develop into a long-term position for the right person in time.
