The Role
- Teaching a class of pupils with complex learning needs, tailoring lessons to individual EHCP outcomes
- Creating engaging, sensory-rich learning opportunities that celebrate every achievement
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families to support pupil development
- Promoting communication, independence, wellbeing and life skills
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture where every child is valued
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND, particularly within specialist, SEN or mainstream inclusion settings
- A strong understanding of Autism, SLD, PMLD and complex learning needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A nurturing, resilient and creative approach to teaching
