Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs?
 
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school in Croydon from September for the full academic year.
 
This is a rewarding opportunity to teach pupils of Primary and Secondary age with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of learning difficulties, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
 
The Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Teach pupils across Primary and Secondary age groups with autism and learning difficulties.
  • Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to support individual outcomes.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
 
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching children with SEND, particularly those with autism and learning difficulties.
  • A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach to teaching.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and achieving the best outcomes for every pupil.
