We are urgently recruiting a SEND Teacher for a specialist school supporting students aged 11–19 with Autism and Complex Needs. This is a rewarding long-term opportunity in a structured and supportive environment, with excellent pay and ongoing professional support. A specialist autism and additional needs school providing a highly supportive, structured, and nurturing environment where every young person is treated as an individual. The setting combines education, therapy, and life skills development, with a strong focus on communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing. Staff work closely as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and are well supported to make a meaningful daily impact, helping students build confidence, skills, and greater independence for the future.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting students with autism in and out of the classroom
- Assisting teachers with learning activities and behaviour support
- Encouraging communication, independence, and social skills development
- Providing one-to-one and small group support
