About the Role

Horizon Teachers is seeking a confident, committed SEN Teacher to join a progressive and well-resourced SEN school in London. Youâ??ll take broad learning goals and turn them into structured, measurable steps that help every pupil move forward.
Youâ??ll deliver engaging, cross-curricular lessons across Key Stages 1â??2, weaving life skills and core learning into daily teaching. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

About the School
  • Class sizes of up to 10 pupils
  • Strong support from skilled Teaching & Learning Support Assistants
  • Warm, inclusive ethos with a strong focus on pupil well being and progress

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver purposeful, cross-curricular lessons rooted in life skills and foundational learning
  • Support pupilsâ?? social, emotional, and personal development
  • Work closely with the SENCO and support team to deliver Individualised Learning Plans (ILPs)
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and a safe learning environment

What Weâ??re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) â?? essential
  • Experience teaching KS1â??KS2 â?? essential
  • SEN and/or SEMH experience â?? strongly desirable
  • Confident behaviour and classroom management
  • Excellent communication and collaborative working skills
