We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary school in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference by supporting children with additional needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
What you’ll be doing- Supporting children with SEND within the mainstream classroom or a resource base, helping to access learning and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
- Helping to adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs.
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development.
- Building strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
What we’re looking for- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
- Experience working with EYFS, Key Stage 1 or 2.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
