Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Location: Ealing, West London
Salary: £515 - £560 per week Contract: Full-Time | September Start A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and proactive individual who is passionate about making a positive difference in a child's educational journey. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team to help the pupil access learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Support the pupil's academic, social and emotional development.
- Build positive relationships with the pupil, staff and parents.
- Implement strategies and interventions as directed by the SENCO and teaching staff.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback on pupil development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:- Experience working with children with SEN, either in schools or similar settings.
- A patient, nurturing and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
