About the School We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in the Hounslow area, committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for all pupils. Our school prides itself on its strong community ethos, dedicated staff team, and focus on ensuring every child reaches their full potential. We have a well-established SEN provision and work closely with families and external professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
Main Duties- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Help to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and individual support strategies
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to staff
- Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
About You- Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential)
