We are urgently recruiting a
SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in South East London supporting learners who have struggled in mainstream education. The role involves helping students rebuild confidence, engagement, and positive learning habits through strong pastoral support and consistent relationships.
You’ll be working in a setting focused on individual needs, supporting learners to overcome barriers, develop self-esteem, and make progress towards positive educational outcomes in line with the school’s “Success for Everyone” ethos.
Key responsibilities: • Supporting SEN learners in and out of the classroom
• Assisting with learning, engagement, and behaviour support
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and social development
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to help learners succeed
