Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Primary School (Brent)Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday) (8:30am to 4:00pm)Salary: £500 - £550 per weekWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving and high-achieving primary school in Brent. Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum by adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
- Implement tailored strategies and interventions to support communication, engagement and learning
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to monitor progress and adjust support plans
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social interaction
- Assist in creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
