Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday) (8:30am to 4:00pm)
Salary: £500 - £550 per week

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving and high-achieving primary school in Brent. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with additional needs in a nurturing and ambitious learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay
  • Support pupils in accessing the curriculum by adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
  • Implement tailored strategies and interventions to support communication, engagement and learning
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to monitor progress and adjust support plans
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social interaction
  • Assist in creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
