Horizon Teachers are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them thrive both academically and personally.

The Role:

• Supporting students with SEN such as Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties within the classroom
• Working 1:1 and in small groups to help students engage with learning activities
• Assisting teachers in delivering inclusive and supportive lessons
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting students’ social and emotional development
• Helping to create a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate
• Has a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
• Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable but not essential)
• Patient, empathetic and able to build positive relationships with students
• Confident supporting learning and behaviour within a classroom environment
• Interested in a career in education, SEN support, or youth work
