SEN Teaching Assistant Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in North London seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support in the classroom.

The Role
- Needs may include: ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH
- Working closely with class teachers and the schoolâ??s SENCO
- Assisting with classroom activities, interventions, and structured routines
- Promoting independence and encouraging positive behaviour
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or educational setting
- Calm, caring and patient nature
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt and work effectively as part of a team
