We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Southeast London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs thrive both academically and socially.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Encourage students’ confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
Requirements- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
- A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
