We are urgently hiring SEN teaching assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Surrey.
In this role, you’ll be supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them feel safe, understood, and confident in their learning. Every day brings the chance to encourage progress- both academically and personally- in a structured and positive classroom environment.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assisting with personalised learning activities tailored to individual needs
  • Encouraging communication, confidence, and independence
  • Supporting positive behaviour in a calm and consistent way
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Enjoys working closely with children and making a difference
  • Has experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • Builds strong, supportive relationships with ease
  • Is patient, reliable, and proactive in their approach
