We are seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant, inclusive mainstream secondary school in North London. This is an exciting opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7–11) within the Science department (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), helping to inspire the next generation of scientists.

The Role:
• Support Science teachers in delivering engaging, practical and inclusive lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Assist with setting up and supervising laboratory experiments, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups with students, including those with SEN or EAL needs, to reinforce scientific understanding.
• Provide targeted academic support to help students prepare for GCSE examinations.
• Contribute to students’ academic progress and confidence in STEM subjects.
• Build strong relationships with staff and students while developing your classroom presence and subject knowledge delivery.

Ideal for graduates who:

• Hold a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related STEM subject.
• Are considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, research, or youth work.
• Have a genuine passion for science and inspiring young people.
• Are confident explaining scientific concepts clearly and enthusiastically.
• Are proactive, organised and eager to gain hands-on classroom experience.
