Horizon Teachers are currently working with a Primary School based in East London, looking for a reliable, friendly and hard-working staff member to join their team to help keep their school clean and hygienic!
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the school. Will work as part of a team to perform a variety of regular and one-off cleaning tasks and duties as directed by their supervisor/line manager.
The hours of this role will be both 6am-8am and 3pm-6pm, with some availability for full-day shifts during school holidays.
General cleaning responsibilities:- Cleaning certain parts of the school site.
- Vacuuming carpeted areas and washing floors.
- Sweeping uncarpeted areas.
- Emptying and cleaning bins.
- Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing toiletries.
- Cleaning doors and windows.
Skills and experience:- Previous experience cleaning within a school setting.
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
- Able to manage time effectively.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work both alone and in a team.
