School Caretaker

Horizon Teachers are working with our client in Southeast London as they look to add an experienced and reliable caretaker to their team
We are seeking a reliable caretaker to help ensure the school environment remains well maintained and welcoming to all visitors

Responsibilities of the School Caretaker will include but not be limited to

• Monitoring all areas of health and safety compliance and reporting back at school meetings
• Overseeing contractors and signing for and allocating deliveries when requested
• Checking systems such as fire alarms on a weekly basis

The Ideal Candidate must have

• Previous experience in a school-based caretaking job role
• Practical DIY skills
• Thorough understanding of all health and safety procedures
• The ability to work independently and manage your own time
