Main Responsibilities- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Support pupils’ development across academic, social and emotional domains, with a particular focus on early years learning.
- Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teaching.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, SET teachers, SNAs and leadership to support pupil learning and wellbeing.
- Build strong relationships with parents and communicate effectively regarding pupil progress.
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives, planning and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
About You- A qualified primary teacher with recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience or strong interest in early years / infant education.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Committed to inclusive education and meeting the needs of all learners.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reflective practitioner with a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of play-based learning, early literacy and numeracy approaches is highly desirable.
