The Role – Key Responsibilities

As a Primary Teacher, you will:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform planning and next steps
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of a diverse cohort
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to maximise pupil outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including clubs, trips, and events
SEN & Inclusion Focus
This role requires a strong commitment to inclusion. You will:
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech & language, and SEMH
  • Implement adaptive teaching strategies to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCo and external professionals
  • Deliver targeted interventions and support individual learning plans
  • Promote a nurturing classroom environment that supports both academic and emotional development
