A welcoming and supportive primary school in Merton is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team from April 2026 on a part-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping young learners thrive during the important early years of their education.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assess and track pupil progress to support learning and development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (EYFS experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
