Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for a Year 6 class in line with the national curriculum
• Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments (SATs) while maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential
• Provide differentiated learning opportunities to support a range of abilities and learning needs
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour and attitudes to learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders to enhance teaching and learning
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing

• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, school events, and staff meetings

About You
We are looking for a motivated and passionate teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment practices
• Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
• Is an excellent communicator who works well as part of a team
• Is committed to inclusive education and supporting all learners
