Key responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely and effective feedback
- Create a safe, stimulating and supportive classroom environment
- Promote high standards of behaviour and attitudes to learning, in line with the schoolâ??s behaviour policy
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support each childâ??s development
- Build strong relationships with parents/carers and contribute to home-school communication
- Uphold and promote the school's values, policies and safeguarding procedures
About you- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience of planning and delivering high-quality lessons (placements or previous teaching roles)
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and age-related expectations
- Familiarity with inclusive practices and supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND and EAL
- Competence in using technology to support learning and assessment
