Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher looking for a long-term position in a supportive Brent school?
Horizon Teachers is currently working with a fantastic primary school in Brent that is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join their team as soon as possible and remain in post until the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who wants stability, consistency and the chance to really make an impact with a class over the remainder of the school year.

This isn’t a short-term placement where you’re simply covering a class for a few weeks.

You will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering engaging, creative and purposeful lessons
Creating a positive classroom environment where children feel confident and motivated
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning
Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team
Contributing to the wider life of the school

We’re looking for someone who is:

Able to build strong relationships with pupils
Committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for children

ECTs are welcome to apply, as well as experienced teachers looking for a new opportunity.
Requirements:

QTS or recognised equivalent
Primary teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Excellent communication skills
A genuine passion for working with children

From the start, Paul (Primary Team) and David (Secondary Team) have both been incredibly supportive, approachable, and professional, making the whole process smooth and reassuring. I’ve been working with both a primary and a secondary consultant, and the communication between them has been excellent. They’ve always been available to answer questions and provide guidance whenever needed. The support I received before starting my placement was especially helpful. My consultant gave me great insight into the school, which really helped me feel prepared and confident going in. I also completed their Teaching Assistant training, along with Safeguarding Level 1 and Level 2, which were both very informative and valuable. A special thanks to David for checking in with me when things were a bit challenging — it really made a difference and showed genuine care and support.
