An ambitious and welcoming primary school in Haringey is seeking an enthusiastic and creative
Art Lead Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced primary teacher with a passion for the arts to lead and develop art education across the school.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, inspiring creativity throughout the curriculum, and driving the strategic development of art as a subject across all key stages.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Art curriculum across the school.
- Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons that engage and inspire pupils.
- Monitor standards of teaching and learning in Art and support colleagues in curriculum delivery.
- Organise art exhibitions, enrichment activities, and whole-school creative projects.
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- A strong passion for art and creative education.
- Previous subject leadership experience or the ambition to step into a leadership role.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all pupils.
