Horizon Teachers is working with a welcoming Nursery in Camden to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant for a full-time, long-term position starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and play a key role in the early development of children aged 0–5.
You will work alongside experienced Early Years practitioners to provide high-quality care and engaging learning experiences, helping every child develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0–5.
- Assist with delivering engaging play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play.
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing updates with the wider team.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
What we're looking for:- Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential.
- A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
