We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Montessori Teacher to join our early years team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to contribute to a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the holistic development of young children.

The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning, in line with Montessori principles. This position is ideal for someone committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education within a supportive and dynamic setting.

To note, you would need to have a Montessori Qualification to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred Montessori lessons tailored to each child’s individual needs, covering areas such as mathematics, early literacy, creative development, and physical education.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independence, confidence, and mutual respect.
  • Observe, assess, and track children’s progress, maintaining accurate records to support future learning and development.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies aligned with Montessori philosophy.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s educational and emotional journey.
  • Organise activities that enhance fine motor skills, social development, and early communication skills.
  • Use creative and varied teaching approaches, including guided activities, tutoring support, and interactive learning experiences.
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children at all times.
Requirements
  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and/or a Montessori certification.
  • Proven experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or Montessori setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies for early years.
  • Experience teaching areas such as maths, early writing, and physical development is highly desirable.
  • Additional skills in tutoring or supporting individual learning needs are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver activities that promote both cognitive and social development.
  • A warm, caring, and professional approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth in an inclusive environment.
