The Role- Teaching Maths to a diverse cohort of secondary-aged learners with SEN/SEMH needs
- Planning and delivering structured, engaging lessons that support both attainment and personal development
- Starting 5th May, with the placement running until the end of the academic year and likely extending beyond
- Creating a consistent, calm classroom environment where students feel supported to succeed
- Working closely with pastoral teams and support staff to meet individual needs and remove barriers to learning
The Ideal Candidate- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has proven experience working with SEN/SEMH learners at secondary level
- Demonstrates strong pastoral ability, with the capacity to build trust, set boundaries, and support emotional regulation
- Has a clear commitment to promoting academic achievement alongside personal growth
- Is resilient, reflective, and adaptable in their approach
- UK-based and available to start immediately
