The RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support students with additional learning and emotional needs within the classroom
- Build positive, consistent relationships with young people
- Help create a calm, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to ensure every student achieves their potential
Additional Responsibility – Minibus DrivingCandidates with a full, clean UK driving licence who are willing to drive a school minibus a small number of times each month are highly encouraged to apply. This may include supporting educational visits, enrichment activities, or transporting students safely to external provisions.
We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with young people in schools, youth work, mentoring, care, or similar settings
- A calm, resilient and compassionate approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive mindset and willingness to be part of a collaborative team
- A clean driving licence (preferred)
