Horizon Teachers is actively seeking a Learning Support Assistants for a secondary school within East London. The ideal candidate will be open to working with students aged from 11-16 across teaching those with mixed abilities including those with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and more.
About the schoolWe are a mixed secondary school aged 11-16 who pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and the excellent behaviour of the students.
The Role- 1-1 support to those with SEMH and other difficulties
- Supporting the teacher in the classroom
- Developing individual plans to those needing additional support within social, emotional and mental health.
- Helping in planning of lessons and assisting with teaching resources that enable students to learn and make progress.
