We are working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in South London that is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to build a long-term career in education or gain valuable experience.
About the Role:- Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEND.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning materials.
- Helping to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Monitoring progress and helping to promote independent learning.
- Assisting with personal care needs if required.
About You:- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
- Calm, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting learners.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children.
- A proactive team player, able to work independently when needed.
