We are working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Hackney that is seeking a confident and passionate HLTA to join their team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic classroom environment and is eager to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and development.
As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will be trusted to lead whole-class sessions, deliver targeted interventions, and support pupils of all abilities.
Key responsibilities include:- Leading whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher
- Delivering planned interventions to small groups
- Supporting pupils with varying learning needs, including SEN
- Working collaboratively with teachers to plan and assess learning
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
What We’re Looking For:- HLTA qualified
- Experienced in a UK primary school setting
- Confident leading lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Passionate about education and pupil progress
- Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
- Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
