Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: HillingdonWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Hillingdon. Main Duties- Deliver high-quality learning activities and lessons across the primary age range in the absence of a teacher
- Support the planning and preparation of lessons in collaboration with teaching staff
- Provide targeted interventions to support pupils’ academic progress
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
- Support classroom management and promote positive behaviour
- Work with individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional needs
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
About You- Hold a Level 4 qualification (or higher) relevant to supporting teaching and learning
- Have proven experience working as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Be confident leading whole class teaching sessions
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Show initiative, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting learning
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
