EYFS Teaching Assistant Full-time | Term-time onlySeptember StartWe are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school in Camden. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey.
Working within our Early Years setting, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a creative and engaging environment.
What You’ll Be Doing- Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years provision
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
- Promoting children’s social, emotional, and communication development
- Supporting phonics, early literacy, and numeracy skills
- Observing, recording, and contributing to assessments of children’s progress
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
What We’re Looking For- Experience working with children in an EYFS setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework
- A warm, patient, and caring personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and flexible approach
- Relevant qualification (Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
