This full-time, long-term position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across Design and Technology, ensuring a safe, well-organised, and engaging workshop environment for students.
The role offers a competitive daily rate of up to £120, dependent on experience.
About the Role:
• Prepare, maintain, and organise materials, tools, and equipment for Design and Technology lessons
• Provide practical support to teachers during lessons, including demonstrations where appropriate
• Ensure workshops and classrooms are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Support the management of stock, ordering of materials, and routine equipment checks
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of practical activities, projects, and coursework

• Previous experience working in a Design and Technology environment, workshop, or similar practical setting
• A good understanding of health and safety procedures within a school or workshop environment
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage resources effectively
• A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to supporting teaching staff and students
• Confidence working with young people in a secondary school setting
