A well-established and high-performing secondary school in Harrow, North-West London is seeking qualified Cover Teachers to provide short-term and day-to-day teaching cover across the school.
This role is ideal for QTS or PGCE-qualified teachers who are looking for flexible work, a better work–life balance, or the opportunity to gain experience across different subjects and year groups without the additional pressures of planning and marking.
Cover Teacher work at this school offers a daily rate of up to £160, depending on experience.
The Role:
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a focused and productive learning environment
• Adapt confidently to different subjects, classes, and year groups throughout the school day
• Provide clear instructions and support students in completing set work
• Uphold the school’s policies and expectations while acting as a positive role model
