Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, youâ??ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour across Key Stages 3 and 4. Youâ??ll supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring lessons run smoothly and students stay engaged and on task.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4.
• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
• Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide feedback on lesson progress to teaching staff.
• Support the wider school community by assisting with learning activities and school events when needed.

 
What Weâ??re Looking For

• Experience working with young people in a school or youth setting (paid or voluntary).
• Strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
• A calm, confident, and professional approach to classroom supervision.
• A genuine passion for supporting young peopleâ??s learning and development.
