SEN Teaching Assistant
Feltham, West London
£515 – £550 per week  
Full-Time |  Term Time Only
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
 
An inclusive primary school in the Feltham area is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential within a nurturing learning environment.
Main Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Support children within the school’s dedicated SEN base and mainstream classrooms.
• Assist pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Implement strategies and interventions outlined in EHCPs and support plans.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress.
• Help create an inclusive, safe and engaging learning environment.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence throughout the school day.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

 
About You

• Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
• A caring, patient and empathetic approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives.
• Able to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Available to work full-time from 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
