Horizon Teachers are working with a welcoming primary school in Croydon who are seeking a full-time SEN Teacher to join their specialist provision from September 2026.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a primary teacher in the early stages of their career who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is keen to develop their experience within a dedicated SEN setting.
 
Previous SEN teaching experience is not required – the school is happy to support a teacher who has a genuine interest in SEN and has general experience working with children with additional needs.
 
We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Holds QTS
• Has previous experience supporting children with SEN/additional needs
• Is passionate about developing a career within SEN education
• Is confident managing behaviour and creating a calm, supportive learning environment
• Can adapt lessons and learning activities to meet individual needs
• Is patient, nurturing and committed to helping every child reach their potential
• Is keen to learn and develop their understanding of SEN teaching and specialist provision
• Works well as part of a supportive and collaborative team
• Is enthusiastic, resilient and brings a positive attitude to the classroom
