I’ve had a really amazing and positive experience with the team since joining. From the start, Paul (Primary Team) and David (Secondary Team) have both been incredibly supportive, approachable, and professional, making the whole process smooth and reassuring. I’ve been working with both a primary and a secondary consultant, and the communication between them has been excellent. They’ve always been available to answer questions and provide guidance whenever needed. The support I received before starting my placement was especially helpful. My consultant gave me great insight into the school, which really helped me feel prepared and confident going in. I also completed their Teaching Assistant training, along with Safeguarding Level 1 and Level 2, which were both very informative and valuable. A special thanks to David for checking in with me when things were a bit challenging — it really made a difference and showed genuine care and support. When I registered with Horizon, I was fearful of it being just like the rest. The ones that create empty promises to keep your interest and who want to benefit more from your hardwork than yourself. Melanie proved that Horizon was a cut above the rest. From the very start, Melanie was keen on getting employment that fulfilled my wishes. She stayed in contact to inform me of potential positions and offered me clear advice in order to secure the ideal post. Even after that, Melanie still contacts me to ensure all is well. I've been working under Horizon as a TA since early Dec, and have only compliments. My agency contact, Alexa, has been great at providing information, fixing any miscommunications and has personally chased after my timesheet approvals. I have already recommended Horizon to friends as well as a coworker who had problems with their own agency and I would definitely recommend Horizon again as a great agency for TA's.

Its a good agency, they got me a long term placement very quickly that started in November and I'm still in that placement. They didn't prep me anything about the school other than where it is, the age group and department that I'll be in but, I'm sure if I had asked for more details they would have provided them without issue. I’ve been working with Horizon Teaching for several months now in an SEN school, and my experience has been very positive. The whole process from starting out to being placed in a school was quick and smooth. I’d especially like to mention David, who I’ve been working with since September. He has been incredibly supportive, always approachable, and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. He takes feedback positively and acts on it, always doing his best to meet requirements and make sure everything runs smoothly. David also genuinely looks after staff, which makes a big difference.
