Plan and deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons
Create a positive classroom environment where every child can succeed

Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Has experience teaching within a primary school setting

Is reliable, organised and genuinely enjoys teaching

From the start, Paul (Primary Team) and David (Secondary Team) have both been incredibly supportive, approachable, and professional, making the whole process smooth and reassuring. I’ve been working with both a primary and a secondary consultant, and the communication between them has been excellent. They’ve always been available to answer questions and provide guidance whenever needed. The support I received before starting my placement was especially helpful. My consultant gave me great insight into the school, which really helped me feel prepared and confident going in. I also completed their Teaching Assistant training, along with Safeguarding Level 1 and Level 2, which were both very informative and valuable. A special thanks to David for checking in with me when things were a bit challenging — it really made a difference and showed genuine care and support. The ones that create empty promises to keep your interest and who want to benefit more from your hardwork than yourself. Melanie proved that Horizon was a cut above the rest. From the very start, Melanie was keen on getting employment that fulfilled my wishes. She stayed in contact to inform me of potential positions and offered me clear advice in order to secure the ideal post. Even after that, Melanie still contacts me to ensure all is well. My agency contact, Alexa, has been great at providing information, fixing any miscommunications and has personally chased after my timesheet approvals.
