SEN Teaching Assistant

£60 - £75 per day
A Complex Needs School based in Barnet are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team from January 2019. This is a Long term position which will continue until the end of the academic year and with a potential to become permanent.The SchoolThis is an all through school which provides places to Primary and Secondary age children between the ages of 3 and 18 years old. They are a Jewish faith school so all pupils are of the Jewish faith, although staff come from a range of cultures and beliefs. In the Secondary classes, boys and girls are taught separately. The classes are organised by age groups as well as by the severity of the children's needs. Pupils have a range of Special Educational Needs from Moderate to Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Pupils with PMLD are non-verbal and mostly wheelchair users and the school has resources on site to hoist pupils with such needs. Part Time Class Teacher

A rare part time opportunity is available for a KS2 Teacher at a GOOD Primary School in Hounslow. You will be working Monday to Wednesday, as part of a job share within a Year 5 class. Your job share partner is a very experienced KS2 Teacher who has worked with the school for a number of years. You will be required to take full responsibility for the class for your 3 days per week, including planning, assessments, parents evening and reports. The class are a lovely group of 25 children, with generally very good behaviour. There are a couple of children within the class who you would need to spend some time building a good relationship with, in order to gain their trust. The position is available for an ASAP start, but they are able to wait for the right person as the class is currently being covered by a Teacher internally.
