English Graduate Teaching Assistant

Horizon Teachers is recruiting English Graduates for Teaching Assistant Vacancies in London's Secondary Schools NOW!!  These schools are mainstream, secondary schools that are graded either 'Outstanding' or 'Good' by Ofsted, and are located in each part of London... for example: East London (Tower Hamlets and Newham), South East London (Southwark, Lewisham and Bromley), South West and West London (Hounslow, Hammersmith and Wandsworth), North West London (Wembley), and North London (Islington and Enfield).  As an English Teaching Assistant you will work mainly in the English department. Your role will include a combination of 1-2-1 support in English classes to SEN pupils; withdrawing these pupils from class for small booster sessions; leading small English groups supporting pupils make progress; getting involved in English, literature or Drama clubs/plays. Your timetable could also include supporting in other subject classes too. Your timetable will ultimately be decided by the School's SENCo.
