Early Years Teacher - 3 days per week

£140 - £227 per day
A part time maternity cover contract is available within the Early Years team at a GOOD Primary School in Brent. The school pay inner London pay rates, despite the outer London location! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and inclusive Primary School located in the Willesden area of Brent. The position is available to start at the beginning of the summer term, in April 2019. If you are available and able to start sooner, the position could start in February or March, to enable a throughout handover with the Teacher before she departs on her maternity leave. You will benefit from working with an extremely supportive and dedicated Headteacher, who is passionate about offering development opportunities to those you want to progress in their career. LSA - Year 4

£60 - £95 per day
Horizon Teachers are working closely with a Primary School in Brent, who are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join them starting in February. You will be supporting a child in a Year 4 class who has Autism. Depending on the timetable, there may be periods of time where you are required to work as a general TA, or support other children on a 1:1 basis. ABOUT YOU• Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant within a Primary School• Experience of working within KS2 (desired)• Hard working and flexible• Committed to supporting and enhancing the education of the child • A good sense of humour! The position is available from February 2019, but there may be the option for you to start the role early in order to become acquainted with the child and the school before the new term. You will benefit from working with an extremely supportive and dedicated Headteacher, who is passionate about offering development opportunities to those you want to progress in their career. Initially, this position will begin on a temporary basis, with the salary being between £60 and £95 per day, depending on your experience. There may be an opportunity for a permanent contract in the future. SEN Teaching Assistant

£60 - £85 per day
A Complex Needs School based in Tower Hamlets are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team from February 2019. This is a Long term position which will continue until the end of the academic year and with a potential to become permanent, the position is part time and will be 3/4 days a week. The School This is an all through school which provides places to Primary and Secondary age children between the ages of 3 and 18 years old. The classes are organised by age groups as well as by the severity of the children's needs. Pupils have a range of Special Educational Needs from Moderate to Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Pupils with PMLD are non-verbal and mostly wheelchair users and the school has resources on site to hoist pupils with such needs. They work to a sensory based curriculum whereas pupils who are more able will work to P scales or an adapted Primary national curriculum. SEN Teaching Assistant responsibilities: Supporting a class of girls in Key Stage 3 who have Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties Engaging with the children to ensure they access the curriculum Carrying out behaviour management in line with the school's policies and procedures Supporting pupils with personal care as required (this will involve assisting another member of staff) Accompanying the class on school trips as required Being proactive in the class to ensure your learning support is tailored to each child's individual needs The school are looking for individuals with a passion for supporting vulnerable children and who have some personal or professional experience supporting Special Educational Needs. If you have a family member with SEN or have worked on a voluntary capacity with such needs this is valuable experience which will prepare you well for the role. Most importantly you must be friendly, enthusiastic and positive to engage with the children.
