Horizon Teachers are working with an Early Years Centre in North West London who are looking to employ a full time Room Leader on a long term basis.The Centre was rated Outstanding' in their most recent Ofsted inspection. The staff all work to ensure that the children are learning to the best of their ability, are receiving specialist support (where necessary) and are happy and kept safe at all times. The Centre has excellent transport links, and is a 10 minute walk from its closest London Underground station.The position will be to work as a Team Leader for the under 3s in the centre. The children's ages range from 18 months to 3 years in this room. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the management of the team in the centre under the direction of the Senior Management Team. This will include:• Leading the learning, planning and evaluation in this section of the centre• Attending meetings with the team, case conferences and therapists• Keeping records for each child's needs to assess their development and communicating this to other staff• Keeping an up to date knowledge of the centre's policies and procedures • Reading through observation files ensuring all children's progress is assessed• Managing the preparation and maintenance of a healthy, safe and stimulating work environmentThe centre are looking for the Team Leader to start at the end of February, working initially for 1 term and then continuing on an ongoing basis if successful.
