Horizon Teachers are working closely with an All Boys Special Needs secondary school in Redbridge, who are seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for an immediate start.The school caters for 140 children, aged11 to 16 years old, across two sites. The children have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, and some of whom also have an additional diagnosis of autism.In this Ofsted Good' school the pupils enjoy learning and are challenged in every lesson to develop personally and educationally. A secondary Complex Needs school based in Harlow, Essex and looking to appoint an experienced class teacher to join their team. Although experience is desirable, NQT's are very welcome to apply for this role. This is a long term position from September 2019. There will be an opportunity to lead a curriculum area for a suitable qualified candidate who has the willingness to work with all ages across their school. It is essential to be proactive, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting children with their academic development and personal progression.The school are looking for a practitioner who:- Have a dedicated interest in working with students with a wide and diverse range of Special Needs.- Are adaptable, versatile and have the ability to deliver engaging and informative lessons to students of all abilities. - Have good classroom management, strong behaviour management and excellent interpersonal skills. Teacher of English - Alternative Provision Academy

An Alternative Provision Academy based in Thurrock, Essex are looking to appoint a qualified Teacher of English to join their team from September 2019.The School: This Alternative Provision Academy provides a broad curriculum to a diverse group of young people. The school cater for young people and children who have experienced difficulty in learning for various reasons. They offer an education to students who have been permanently excluded or who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. Some students in Key Stage 4 are able to return to mainstream school but most Years 10 and 11 students remain at the school until they are 16. At Key stage 4, the curriculum is designed to meet the needs of learners through a range of academic and vocational courses. The focus of the school is to provide support and promote independence empowering students to grow and develop.
